Hollywood stars died due to cancer
1. Chadwick Boseman
An American actor, best known for his depiction of T’Challa cum the very famous Black Panther in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the year 2016 to 2019.
He was remembered especially for his portrayal in the blockbuster-hit film Black Panther (2018), which grossed over $1.3 billion dollars worldwide.
2. Kelly Preston
When actress Kelly Preston died on July 12, 2020, due to breast cancer, it was a warning that while numerous strides have been made in breast cancer discovery and treatment, the disease is still intimidating.
Preston, who was born Kelly Kamalelehua Smith in Honolulu, Hawaii, on October 13, 1962, launched her career in 1985 with her first major film performance in Mischief after several minor characters in television shows.
Along with her career, Preston appreciated her decades-long romance with husband Travolta.
3. Irfan Khan
The famous classic actor breathed his last day on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53 after an elongated battle with a rare form of cancer – Neuroendocrine Tumour for two long years.
He was a powerful soul, someone who fought until the very end and always inspired everyone. Being an Indian actor, Khan also rose to fame with his international film careers such as Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, and The Amazing Spider-Man among other Hollywood hits.
4. Edward Van Halen
He was a musician who was also died due to throat cancer on October 6, 2020, at the age of 65. The musician was the co-founder and lead guitarist of the rock group Van Halen.
Along with his brother, Alex Van Halen, David Lee Roth, and Michael Anthony, he made the band in the early ’70s. The band had several members including Alex Van Halen on drums, Michael Anthony on Bass, and David Lee Roth on Vocals and Eddie Van Halen on Guitar.
5. Ben Cross
Best known for his powerful role in the Oscar-winning movie “Chariots of Fire,” Died on August 18, 2020, due to fighting with a type of cancer, which is not publicly revealed. Grievously, he died at the age of 72.
He was born in England on December 16, 1947 to Catherine, English nurse and Harry Cross, door attendant. His acting career at a very young age and engaged in grammar school plays as well.
B-Town Celebrities died due to cancer
1. Mohit Baghel
Best known for playing Amar Chaudhary in superstar Salman Khan’s film ‘Ready’, has died of cancer in his hometown Mathura, Uttar Pradesh.
The actor took his last breath on 23 May 2020 and was just 26 years old.
Meanwhile, he was known for his roles in films like Gali Gali Chor Hai and Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami.
2. Divvya Chouksey
Also acted as the lead in the baseball legend Jackie Robinson in “42,” R&B singer James Brown in “Get on Up” and Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall in “Marshall.”Divya Chouksey
Actor-singer Divvya Chouksey died on 12 July 2020, after a year-and-a-half-long struggle with cancer. She was just 28.
The actor has debuted with the film ‘Hai Apna Dil Toh Awara’ in 2016, took her last breath in her hometown Bhopal.
3. Bhupesh Pandya
Stage and film actor Bhupesh Pandya is best remembered for his roles in films Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran” and Vicky Donor.
Grievously, another loss, the actor has passed away after battling cancer. The actor took his last breath on 23 September 2020.
The National School of Drama (NSD) graduate was struggling with lung cancer and lacked financial help for treatment. He was in his late 40s.
